Physical-chemical purification

Physical-chemical purification is usually used with industrial wastewater when wastewater is loaded with heavy metals, grease, suspended loads, etc. Example of such water pollution is water after boat washing, after laundry, galvanic wastewater, etc.

With adding the chemical additives, such as coagulants, flocculants and organic polymers we can remove suspended and colloidal particles and get a clear depurated wastewater.

Physical-chemical purification takes place under optimum pH and mixing conditions. After treatment and purification of wastewater, a waste sludge is obtained. Waste sludge is then dehydrated in filter bags and disposed of.
